Prestincert Electronic
Self piercing threaded bushes, spacers and a variety of solder pins and terminals are designed for use with PCB’s laminates and light aluminium alloys, all punched and secured to the parent material in a single stroke of the press.
As with steel fasteners, resistance to rotation is achieved by the knurled collar on the component broaching its own profile in the work piece. |

Electrical Contact
A significant feature of the Prestincert self piercing technique is the facility for attaching brass bushes and terminals to PCB’s both mechanically and electrically in one operation without soldering providing a good electrical contact.
Tooling
Simple tooling is available from stock for hand presses and automatic tooling for larger volume production. |
